A massive fire broke out on a freight train near Tiruvallur in Tamil Nadu, triggering thick plumes of smoke and intense flames. Due to the incident, train operations on the affected route have been severely disrupted, causing cancellations.

A video of the incident shared by ANI shows massive flames and thick black smoke rising from the train following the massive fire. The blaze appears widespread, consuming a significant portion of the train and surrounding area.

Following the fire incident, Southern Railway took to X and confirmed the cancellation of eight trains on the affected route. Let’s take a look at the full list:
