Hailing from the Rajput community, Neeraj Singh is seen as a success. Once selling petrol, he now owns a pump and several businesses, highlighting Bihar’s potential

Neeraj Singh, who once dreamt of buying a bicycle, is now the owner of a company with a turnover of Rs 400 crore. Leaving home at the age of 18, Neeraj began his career as a security guard on the streets of Delhi. Today, he is considered one of the most successful industrialists in Bihar's Sheohar district. His story of struggle and courage has become an inspiration for the youth. (Local18)

Neeraj Singh's journey was not easy. Born in Mathurapur village, Neeraj passed matriculation in 2000 and went to Jharkhand in search of employment. However, due to his young age, he was denied employment. Undeterred, he returned to his village and began selling petrol and diesel. Family responsibilities soon forced him to leave again. This struggle became a true lesson in his life. (Local18)

In 2003, Neeraj arrived in Delhi and worked tirelessly day and night to find a job as a security guard. He had to work two shifts for a meagre salary. In 2004, he moved to Pune and progressed from an office boy to an HR assistant. A few years later, after his grandmother's death, he returned to his village and in 2010, took a job at a microfinance company in Motihari for Rs 3,300, where he began to understand the market. While working in Motihari, he got the idea of buying and selling grains. He received a Rs 25,000 reward for helping a relative buy land, using which he started a small business. This first step proved to be a significant one. Soon, his grain business reached Rs 20-30 crore. This success made him self-reliant, and he gradually began to gain recognition in Bihar's industrial scene. (Local18)

Over time, Neeraj Singh expanded his business into several sectors. Today, he is active in industries such as tiles, fibre blocks, fly ash bricks, road construction, flour, and bricks. His company, Usha Industries, employs over 2,000 people. His products are also used in government schemes. In 2025, he opened his own petrol pump on the Shivhar-Motihari highway. (Local18)

Neeraj Singh has now entered the political arena. The Jan Suraj Party has declared him a candidate from the Sheohar Assembly constituency. Coming from the Rajput community, Neeraj is considered by the public to be an example of "success through struggle." He once sold petrol, but now owns a petrol pump and several companies. He says that Bihar has a lot to offer; all you need is the passion to do it.

Neeraj Singh is 38 years old. His father's name is Devkant Singh. He holds a graduate degree and an LLB degree from Baba Saheb Bhim Rao Ambedkar University, Muzaffarpur. He is a successful entrepreneur and a social worker. He has been active in the fields of education, health, employment, and social upliftment for the past decade. He believes that true politics is one that brings positive change to people's lives.
