'Mega 157' title out: Chiranjeevi-Nayanthara starrer is named 'Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu'

Celebrating Megastar Chiranjeevi's 70th birthday, the makers of the upcoming film directed by Anil Ravipudi, starring Nayanthara as the female lead, have unveiled the title of the film. The film, tentatively referred to as 'Mega 157,' has been officially named 'Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu.'The title is a reference to Chiranjeevi's complete name, Konidela Shankar Vara Prasad, and in the video, he was shown in a swaggy avatar, in a suit and surrounded by commandos, with cinematic music referencing his earlier movies, sparking a nostalgic feel for his fans.Makers shared the video on their social media handles. About the title release video

He was seen in the video smoking a cigarette, walking in style through several cars, and flicking it away with flair.

In another part, he hopped down a staircase with a shotgun slung over his shoulder. In the final segment, he walked a horse while smoking another cigarette. All through the glimpse, upbeat music played in the background, with the word ‘Boss’ flashing repeatedly, referring to Chiranjeevi.

The film is titled 'Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu' with the tagline 'Pandagaki Vasthunnaru.' It is a full-length family entertainer and marks the first collaboration between Megastar and Anil Ravipudi.

The film features Nayanthara as the lead actress, which interestingly marks their third collaboration. The music is composed by Bheems Ceciroleo, and the cinematography is by Sameer Reddy. The crew includes editor Tammiraju, production designer AS Prakash, and writers S Krishna and G Adi Narayana.Earlier social media posts went viral that showed an important schedule was held in Alappuzha, Kerala, known for its beautiful backwaters. During this schedule, Chiranjeevi and Nayanthara filmed a romantic song and a wedding scene on traditional houseboats decorated with yellow flowers.The movie is set to release during the 2026 Sankranti release window.
