Michael Porter Jr. addressed a topic that isn't included in a box score on his Curious Mike show. During the YouTube podcast, he said:“Everybody has different vices. Everybody has different things that they struggle with. … You know, for example, my brother struggled with gambling.
My vice has always come in the form of women.”
He continued:“There was one girl I really liked… She used to talk to a dude in the league and I was like I just can’t do it, because if I’m cooking him and he’s allowed to say thats why I hit your girl.”He had previously talked candidly about his romantic life. On One Night with Steiny, the 27-year-old discussed his romantic pursuits and said:"My only thing with a girl, you gotta bring something to the table. I don’t mind providing for you, I don’t mind doing that… You can stay at the crib, you can do your thing. You gotta bring something to the table. … Positivity, you gotta help me mentally, you gotta be able to cook or something. You gotta bring something to the table … look, what value are you bringing to my life? That’s the way I look at it now…”

He continued:"In a wifey, I don’t mind if she’s a stay-at-home mom. My mom was a stay-at-home mom but she raised all eight of us kids, she homeschooled us, she cooked for us when my dad was out working, she raised us. You gotta be able to do something. These girls nowadays it’s like they just want to live like queens and do absolutely nothing."Meanwhile, the Brooklyn Nets icon is now preparing for the new NBA 2025-26 season.
