Missing boy traced, handed over to father in Rayachoti

A four-year-old boy, who went missing from his home in Rayachoti in Annamayya district, was traced and handed over to his parents in short time by the police with the help of locals, on Thursday.

The boy Srihan, who was playing at his house, went missing around 9 a.m.. Within few minutes, the family members noticed him missing. His father B. Nagarjuna rushed to the Rayachoti police station seeking help to find his son. Rayachoti Circle Inspector (CI) B.V. Chalapati formed a team to search for the boy and examined the CCTV footages for any traces.

Meanwhile, a person noticed the boy loitering on the road, took him to a place of worship and made an announcement through the public address system. Police, who were already searching for the boy, immediately reached the spot, brought the boy to the police station and handed him over to his father.
