Mizoram churches unite with hymns & devotion on Good Friday

Aizawl: Setting aside the denomination line, churches across Mizoram resonated with hymns and prayers on Friday as Mizoram observed Good Friday with solemnity and deep spiritual devotion, commemorating the crucifixion of Jesus Christ.Churches belonging to various denominations such as Presbyterian and Baptist congregations organised special worship services featuring ‘zaipawl’— choir singing led largely by youth members.Governor Vijay Kumar Singh and CM Lalduhoma conveyed their greetings to the people on the occasion. Singh wished for peace and spiritual renewal, expressing hope that the day would deepen faith and bring grace and strength to all. Lalduhoma, in a message shared on social media, extended his wishes to all churches observing the solemn day.
