Motorcycle rider killed in road accident in Belagavi

A 42-year-old motorcycle rider died in a road accident in Belagavi on Thursday.

Sunil Dilip Desai of Kapoli village in Khanapur taluk died when a lorry hit his motorbike from behind.

He was going to Basaveshwara Circle in Goaves from Rani Parvati Devi College.

When he made a turn at the Rani Parvati Devi College Traffic Junction, a goods-laden lorry hit him from behind, the police said.

He died on the spot. The police arrived and registered a complaint.
