Girls outperform boys in mpbse class 10 second exam result 2026, private candidates record 28.94% pass rate
MP Board Class 10th Second Exam Result 2026: The Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (MPBSE), Bhopal, has declared the Class 10 Second Examination Result 2026. The result has been released for both regular and private candidates who appeared under the board's revised second examination framework introduced in place of the supplementary examination system.According to the result statistics released by the board, a total of 1,44,787 regular candidates appeared in the High School Second Examination 2026. Of these, 58,608 candidates passed, taking the overall pass percentage among regular students to 40.47 per cent.Girls record higher pass percentage among regular candidatesAmong regular candidates, 82,613 boys and 62,174 girls appeared for the examination. A total of 30,898 boys qualified, resulting in a pass percentage of 37.40 per cent.Girls performed better than boys in the examination. Out of 62,174 girls who appeared, 27,710 passed. The pass percentage among girls stood at 44.56 per cent.
The board reported that 86,176 regular candidates were declared failed. Three results were withheld, while one registered candidate remained absent from the examination.More than 13,000 students secure first divisionThe statistics show that 13,344 regular candidates secured first division.
Of these, 6,400 were boys and 6,944 were girls.A total of 44,584 candidates obtained second division, while 680 students passed in third division. No candidate was placed in the pass division category.Private candidates record 28.94 per cent pass rateThe board also released the results of private candidates who appeared in the second examination. A total of 33,130 private candidates appeared for the examination, including 19,289 boys and 13,841 girls.Among them, 9,590 candidates passed, resulting in an overall pass percentage of 28.94 per cent.The pass percentage among private boys stood at 27.06 per cent, while girls recorded a pass percentage of 31.56 per cent. A total of 23,540 private candidates were declared failed.Division-wise performance of private candidatesAmong private candidates, 128 secured first division, including 69 boys and 59 girls. A total of 3,455 students obtained second division, while 6,007 candidates secured third division.The result marks the completion of the Class 10 Second Examination process conducted by MPBSE under the revised assessment framework. The examination was held for students who were unsuccessful in the main examination, remained absent, or wished to improve their marks.
