On Facebook, Mukesh posted an image from Mohanlal’s wedding with Suchitra, held on April 28, 1988. In the photo, Mukesh can be seen blessing the newlyweds. He captioned it with a touch of humor and nostalgia: “My hairstyle and body shape after the film 1921. At Lal’s wedding.” The image shows a young Mohanlal beaming in a silk jubba, while Suchitra looks radiant in traditional bridal attire adorned with jewelry.

For fans, this glimpse into Lalettan’s big day was nothing short of a treasure.

Suchitra on falling in love with Mohanlal

In an earlier interview with Rekha Menon, Mohanlal’s wife Suchitra recalled their love story with warmth and honesty. “When I saw him in the first movie Manjil Virinja Pookkal, I hated him. I used to hate him whenever he featured the role of a villain.

But I knew that I disliked him because he was so perfect in his job. After watching ‘Ente Mammattikuttiyammakku’, I started to like him. Slowly, I fell in love with him and we got married.

”She also revealed how she nicknamed him “SKP” — short for Sundara Kuttappan, meaning “charming man” — after being smitten by his looks and charm at a wedding in Thiruvananthapuram.Meanwhile, on the work front, Mohanlal's recent outing is Sathyan Anthikad's directorial 'Hridayapoorvam' which is getting good reviews from the audiences.
