Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL) said that the services on a section of the Namma Metro’s Purple Line will face a temporary suspension due to scheduled maintenance work on Sunday.
The maintenance will take place between Swami Vivekananda and Baiyappanahalli Metro Stations from 7 a.m. to 8 a.m. During this one-hour period, services between Indiranagar and Baiyappanahalli stations will be curtailed.
BMRCL has clarified that services will resume as normal on this section from 8 a.m. onwards.
Other metro stretches, including Challaghatta to Indiranagar, Baiyappanahalli to Whitefield (Kadugodi), and Madavara to Silk Institute, will function without any disruption, following the regular Sunday schedule from 7 a.m., according to a release.
