Nandyal Collector gives ₹1 lakh each to two medical students

District Collector Rajakumari Ganiya on Saturday (September 20, 2025) handed over a cheque of ₹one lakh each to two students of Dr B.R. Ambedkar IIT Medical Academy who secured medical seats.

Ms. Ganiya said that the two students studied SSC in the APRJC school at Chinnatekur and later pursued intermediate with NEET coaching at the Dr B.R. Ambedkar IIT Medical Academy. While Pranay Babu secured a seat at SV Medical College in Tirupati, the other Nitish Nayak got a seat in Anantapur Medical College.

With the classes set to begin from September 22, the Collector extended a financial assistance of ₹one lakh each to the students from the Reserve Fund to help them purchase books and other material.
