St. Louis Blues forward Nathan Walker has reportedly signed a two-year contract extension on September 17, 2025, Wednesday, as reported by the NHL. The St. Louis Blues have secured forward Nathan Walker for the coming seasons, locking him for the next two years.
It was announced by the team President of Hockey Operations and General Manager Doug Armstrong.
According to reports, Nathan Walker’s new deal is worth US$1.775 million total, carrying an average annual value (AAV) of $887,500. Walker played a total of 73 regular-season games with the Blues last season, setting a career high with 16 points (eight goals, eight assists) while leading the team with 63 penalty minutes and 281 hits.

Nathan Walker, the 31-year-old forward, has reportedly signed a two-year contract extension deal with the St. Louis Blues on 17th September. The 2025-26 season will mark Walker’s seventh season with the Blues after the team signed him as a free agent on July 1, 2019.According to the New York Times, in 2024-25, Nathan Walker was chosen as a key member of the Blues’ fourth line, scoring eight goals and 16 points in 73 games. He was also one of the more physical players in the lineup, leading the Blues and ranking No.
7 in the NHL in hits (281), and was tied for second on the team in fighting majors (five). Speaking to The Atlantic, Walker said on Wednesday, “Everyone wants to play 1,000 games in the NHL and make tons of money, but we love it here, my family and I, and I love being a part of the St. Louis community and being a Blue.” He further added, “The history that this place has — it’s something truly special to me.He has reportedly appeared in 229 career NHL regular-season games, totaling 56 points (28 goals, 28 assists) and 122 penalty minutes. Walker also captured the 2018 Stanley Cup as a member of the Washington Capitals.
