C P Radharishnan is currently serving as the Governor of Maharashtra.

NDA candidate C P Radhakrishnan won the Vice Presidential election, securing 452 votes, while opposition nominee B Sudershan Reddy received 300 votes.

A total of 767 votes were cast, of which 752 were valid and 15 were invalid, said Returning Officer PC Mody.
