A new Bengali fiction drama, Jowar Bhata, is set to captivate audiences with its emotionally charged narrative that blends the tenderness of sisterhood, the fire of revenge, and the ache of forbidden love.The show unfolds in the fading village of Benagram and follows two sisters, Uji and Nisha, raised by their widowed father, Hariprasad. Uji, played by Aratrika Maity, is gentle, disciplined, and ambitious, hoping education will help her break free from poverty. In contrast, Nisha, portrayed by Shruti Das, is fiery, impatient, and lured into online scams in her quest to escape their stagnant existence.
