HYDERABAD: Labour and mines minister G Vivek Venakatswamy on Wednesday said the govt will soon come up with a policy to make sand easily accessible to everyone. Speaking to the media after taking charge, the minister said: "Revenue improvement is necessary for the implementation of govt guarantee schemes.

We will formulate a policy on sand.

" He also said that gig workers' policy would be finalised soon. He stated that as part of skill development, he signed the first file related to 46 skill development programmes to be introduced at ITIs in collaboration with Tata Technologies. "We are launching 46 new advanced courses with an expenditure of 2,076 crore. These will be jointly launched by Tata Technologies and the state gov. They will serve as a role model in the country," he added.
