NIOS exam date sheet 2025, class 10 and 12: Theory exams from October 14 to November 18

NIOS exam date sheet 2025: The National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) has officially released the date sheet for the 2025 Public Examination (Theory) for Secondary (Class 10) and Senior Secondary (Class 12) courses.

The exams are scheduled to be conducted from October 14, 2025, to November 18, 2025, at designated centres across India and abroad.The complete date sheet for the theory examinations is now available on the NIOS website at http://sdmis.nios.ac.in. All Regional Directors have been instructed to upload the schedule on their respective Regional Centres’ websites and issue press releases in local newspapers.Theory exam schedule begins with Sanskrit Literature and Early Childhood EducationAccording to the official date sheet, Class 10 theory exams will begin on October 14, 2025, with papers in Sanskrit Literature and Entrepreneurship.

On October 16, 2025, exams will be held for regional languages including Bengali, Marathi, Telugu, Gujarati, Punjabi, Assamese, and Tamil.The Hindi paper for Class 10 is scheduled for October 24, 2025, while the Mathematics paper will be conducted on October 30, 2025. The English exam is set for November 11, 2025. The final exams for Class 10—Accountancy and Sanskrit Grammar—will be held on November 18, 2025.Meanwhile, the Class 12 exams will also commence on October 14, 2025, with the Early Childhood Education paper.

Psychology and Sanskrit Grammar exams are scheduled for October 15, 2025, followed by the Geography exam on October 16, 2025. Regional language exams for Class 12 will be held on October 24, 2025.Exam dates for core subjects across both classesFor Class 12, the Chemistry, Political Science, and Mass Communication exams are scheduled for October 29, 2025. The English exam will be conducted on October 31, 2025. Computer Science and Sociology exams will be held on November 3, 2025.

Exams in subjects such as Physics, History, and Environmental Science will take place on November 6, 2025. Mathematics and Vedic Studies exams are scheduled for November 11, 2025.

Practical exams to be conducted in SeptemberPrior to the theory exams, NIOS has scheduled the practical examinations for both Class 10 and 12 between September 12 and September 27, 2025. These will be held at designated centres as per the schedule communicated to the students.Admit cards and result declaration detailsHall tickets for registered students will be available on the official NIOS website before the commencement of the exams. The results will be declared approximately seven weeks after the completion of the theory exams.
