NLC India Limited on Thursday announced the regularisation of 397 IndcoServe society workers, who have been associated with the organisation for long.
Participating in the regularisation ceremony through virtual mode Union Minister for Coal and Mines G. Kishan Reddy noted that nearly 2,300 workers had been regularised at NLCIL since 2015. The NLCIL, which continues to expand its presence, would achieve new milestones in the year ahead, he said.
He emphasised that the regularisation of long-serving workers demonstrated the nation’s vision of progress built on respect, inclusion and shared prosperity. He urged the company to continue extending comprehensive support to its workforce by organising health camps, training programmes, skill development initiatives and mental wellness workshops.
Union Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting and Parliamentary Affairs L. Murugan who participated in the programme through virtual mode said the regularisation of services would bring meaningful improvements to the lives of the workers and their families.
Presenting the appointment orders to the workmen, Prasanna Kumar Motupalli, Chairman and Managing Director of NLCIL said the regularisation of 397 workmen strengthens the organisation’s human capital and aligns with the national mission of Viksit Bharat, 2047. Employee welfare continues to remain central to the NLCIL’s operational ethos, he said.
