Applications for Plus One higher secondary and vocational higher secondary admission for which final confirmation could not be given after making corrections or rearranging options owing to inclement weather the past few days will be considered for first allotment, Minister for General Education V. Sivankutty has said.
Applicants and their parents need not have any apprehensions in this regard, a statement quoting the Minister said on Thursday.
After the publication of trial allotment on May 24, students had initially been given time till 5 p.m. on May 28 to make corrections or rearrange their options for course combinations or schools and give final confirmations.
The Minister, at a press conference here on Thursday, said the first allotment in the main phase of allotment will be published at 5 p.m. on June 2. Admission on the basis of the first allotment will be held from 10 a.m. on June 3 to 5 p.m. on June 5.
4.42 lakh seats
Allotment is being held to 3.16 lakh merit quota seats in government and aided schools. A total of 4.42 lakh higher secondary seats are available in the State. These include community quota, management quota, and unaided quota seats.
Allotments for admission to model residential schools and sports quota admission will also be published along with the first phase allotment.
The second allotment will be published on June 10 and the third allotment on June 16 to complete the main phase of allotment. Plus One classes will begin on June 18.
