Tejashwi Yadav Makes Dance Reels With Boys At Patna Marine Drive

A day after Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Tejashwi Yadav shared a video of him dancing with youth on Patna Marine Drive, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) slammed him for being “irresponsible". BJP national spokesperson Ajay Alok on Wednesday reacted to Yadav’s viral video.

Alok took to X and urged Bihar police to take action against the act. He cited the rising accident cases due to reels.

“Dancing and singing in the middle of the road at midnight and making reels—this is something only an “irresponsible leader" from the opposition can do. Do they even have any idea of how many lives have been lost in road accidents in the pursuit of making reels? This is an act that promotes anarchy; JP Path is not a picnic spot, @BiharpoliceHq take cognizance and take action, otherwise, reel-making will start on roads across the entire state," the post reads.

A video, shot late at night, was shared by Tejashwi Yadav’s sister Rohini Acharya on social media. The video shows Yadav shaking a leg with content creators. He was accompanied by his nephew.

Yadav also shared the video on X and wrote, “Amidst heat, rain, and humidity, the 16-day Voter Rights Yatra concluded yesterday. At night, my nephew who came from Singapore said, “Let’s go for a drive." On the way, we met some young fellow artists on the road. They were singing songs, making reels. When they insisted, we too tried our hand at it."

He also wrote that the new Bihar will rise above caste and religion. “With ease, simplicity, and accessibility, we will march in step with the expectations, aspirations, dreams, and hopes of the youth, rising above caste and religion, resolving to build a new Bihar and bring about a change in power," he added.

Ahead of Bihar elections, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and Tejashwi Yadav organised 16-day long ‘Voter Adhikar Yatra’ in Bihar. The march concluded on September 1.
