Odisha train mishap alert: Shalimar-Sambalpur Mahima Gosain Express derails near Sambalpur; traffic disrupted

BHUBANESHWAR: The rear trolley of a general coach next to the guard van of train number 20831 Shalimar-Sambalpur Mahima Gosain Express derailed near Sambalpur City Station at around 9:18am on Thrusday morning.

According to East Coast Railway (ECoR), the incident occurred at very slow speed, and no injuries or casualties have been reported.Rail traffic in the section was briefly disrupted due to the derailment. The train has since resumed its journey towards Sambalpur. Railway officials and police are present at the spot.
