The news of the split comes as an even bigger shock as Patridge had gushed about his romance with the singer early this September, saying he was "very happy" and even went as far as indicating that marriage may have even been on his mind, saying he had no issue being called "Mr Olivia Rodrigo." He told Variety, "I can handle that."
