Operation Sindoor ongoing, must be prepared: CDS Anil Chauhan

Chief of the Defence Staff, General Anil Chauhan, has declared that 'Operation Sindoor' is still ongoing and that the armed forces must maintain a high level of preparedness. In a significant statement, the CDS affirmed, "Our preparedness level has to be very high, 24/7, 365 days." This assertion comes even after a de-escalation of tensions between India and Pakistan following the initial phase of the operation in May. The CDS stressed that the environment requires constant vigilance and called for "scholar warriors that can ensure this readiness by thinking differently, connecting the dots."
