Orange alert declared in nine districts in Karnataka

The IMD Bengaluru has issued an orange alert for the Belagavi, Dharwad, Gadag, Haveri, Uttara Kannada, Udupi, Dakshina Kannada, Kodagu and Shivamogga districts for the next three hours stating 7 a.m. on Monday (June 16, 2025).

IMD said that there would be moderate rain with gusty wind at the speed 40-50 Kmph.

It added that there would be temporary disruption of traffic snarls. There can be possible damage to Kuccha and unsecured structures along with possible uprooting of weak tree branches.
