Panel under dist collectors to implement loan waiver scheme

Kolhapur: State govt has set up a panel under district collectors for implementation of Punyashlok Ahilyadevi Holkar Shetkari Karjmukti Yojana 2026.The five-member panel is tasked with publishing the list of beneficiaries as per the criteria, declare list of bank accounts not linked to Aadhar, hold camps for registering the farmers for Agristack-farmers id and authentication of Aadhar.It is the second panel after the ministerial sub-committee under CM Devendra Fadnavis appointed for implementation of the loan waiver scheme. The panel under the district collectors will have bank representatives as well such as chief executive officer of district central cooperative banks, manager of District Lead Bank, district coordinator of commercial banks and district sub-registrar of cooperative societies as member secretary.The tenure of the panel will be co-terminus with the implementation of the loan waiver scheme. The district collectors have to submit the reports of progress of the implementation of the scheme to the govt and cooperative department.
