Panneerselvam to take decision over alliance at ‘appropriate time’

AIADMK Workers Rights Retrieval Committee leader O. Panneerselvam, who quit the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) last week, said on Sunday an appropriate decision on forging an electoral alliance would be taken at an appropriate time. He appealed his supporters not to express their opinion on electoral alliance in the public domain.

In an open letter to his supporters, Mr. Panneerselvam said: “An appropriate decision would be taken at the appropriate time after getting the inputs from functionaries and assessing the ground reality over the electoral alliance.” He also appealed to spokespersons, functionaries and his supporters not to express opinion on electoral alliance, failing which he would initiate disciplinary action against them.
