Parag Tyagi has been living with a deep void ever since he lost his wife, actress Shefali Jariwala, to a sudden cardiac arrest on June 27, 2025. The news of her passing left not just her loved ones but also her fans in shock.

He often remembers her during moments of joy, keeping her memory alive through heartfelt posts on social media.Now, the actor has honoured Shefali Jariwala’s dream by starting an NGO dedicated to girls’ education and women’s empowerment. On Wednesday, Parag announced the launch of an NGO in Shefali’s name, fulfilling a dream she always had. In a video shared on Instagram, Parag revealed that this NGO will focus on causes that were close to Shefali’s heart — girl education and women’s empowerment.In his caption, Parag wrote, “First step towards Pari’s dream of educating girls and empowering women. Starting SHEFALI JARIWALA RISE FOUNDATION, to support that launching a YouTube channel https://www.youtube.com/@PariAurSimbaKePapa where I am coming up with my first product very very soon, where I will speak about our beautiful life and will share what actually happened the dark night.”

Along with the foundation, he will be launching a YouTube channel where he plans to share stories from their life together, as well as speak openly about the night that changed everything.

Shefali Jariwala, best known for her appearance in the hit song Kaanta Laga and several television shows, was admired for her vibrant personality and compassion. Her sudden passing left many heartbroken, but through this initiative, her spirit and values will continue to inspire others.Parag has been open about his grief, often posting memories of Shefali on Instagram. On their wedding anniversary in August, he shared a reel filled with unseen moments from their journey together. In another post, he expressed how she continues to be his strength even though she is no longer physically present with him.
