‘Parasakthi’ director Sudha Kongara reveals Kamal Haasan called her at midnight to appreciate: ‘He said, that itself is a big deal’

Sudha Kongara's directorial ‘Parasakthi’ starring Sivakarthikeyan is making headlines ever since its release. While the film has drawn criticism from several quarters, it has also won appreciation. The director has now revealed that Kamal Haasan called her after watching the film and appreciated it. In an interview with Cineulugam, the director revealed that she got a call from legendary actor Kamal Haasan around midnight. “Kamal sir saw my film and spoke to me at midnight, around 12.45 pm. He told me that if you were able to make the audience feel an incident that happened 60 years ago, that itself is a big deal,” the director recalled.
