Park Bom sues her former company and CEO
Park Bom had allegedly filed a lawsuit against Yang Hyun Suk, the CEO of her former management agency. She had shared a cryptic post to her social media accounts revealing the divorce to the public. Her post read, “To the people of Korea, please investigate what YG Entertainment did to Park Bom exactly as it is.”The post also made claims about fraud and embezzlement, and how the CEO had failed to comply with contractual obligations and had not paid her properly.
She claimed that profits that amounted to 64272e trillion hundred million KRW were never duly paid to her by the company. She shared a photo of her formal complaint as well, which was allegedly filed on October 19.
Her agency issues a statement
Earlier, when the post was made online, her agency had shared that they were still consulting on the matter and also added that “Park Bom is beyond our control as well.” Now, on October 23, the company has issued a new update online as per Allkpop reports.
They shared, "It has been confirmed that the lawsuit was never filed. Park Bom has already been duly paid for her activities with 2NE1. Park Bom is currently on hiatus from all activities and is focusing on treatment and recovery. We will do our best to assist in her recovery."No other comments have been made by Park Bom, or her former management agency, which she sued accordingly to the legal documents shared online by the singer.
