Deputy Chief Minister and Jana Sena Party (JSP) president Pawan Kalyan on Wednesday (January 21) visited the family of party activist Chandu Veeravenkata Vasantha Rayalu in Pedachandala village, who lost his life in a road accident last year.
Mr. Pawan Kalyan condoled with the family members — Vasantha Rayalu’s wife Nag Pushpavathi, son Sitaramaraju and daughter Jahnavi — and lauded their decision to donate Vasantha Rayalu’s organs after he was declared brain-dead.
Mr. Pawan also presented them with a cheque for ₹5 lakh in insurance claim and also took special note of Jahnavi’s hearing and speech challenges, instructing officials to provide assistance through the TTD Shravan Project to support her education and rehabilitation.
Mr. Pawan emphasised the importance of supporting the families of activists who dedicate themselves to the party’s mission.
Pedana MLA Kagit Krishna Prasad, Government Whip Bommadi Nayakar, Avanigadda MLA Mandali Buddha Prasad and Krishna District Collector D.K. Balaji were present.
