On November 11, the singer took to her social media account in order to announce that she has chosen to get married as well. She shared a photo of herself standing in front of a cathedral and shared a sweet caption along with as well as announcing the news.The caption read, “We’ve been friends for a long time, we know so much about each other, we’re best friends, and he is a fan who wholeheartedly supports me and Perfume. Marrying a fan has always been my dream. Congratulations to my teenage self! You did it!”Since she has married a non-celebrity person, the idol also took to her account to ask fans for their well-wishes as well as their respect.
She shared that she wishes to keep her husband’s identity private and asked for the fans' understanding in the matter as well.The news has also come soon after her group announced that they will be going on a hiatus from 2026 in order to work and transform themselves.
