Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday spoke with his Israeli counterpart Benjamin Netanyahu, and discussed the situation in West Asia.
Modi reaffirmed India’s support for efforts aimed at securing a “just and durable peace” in the region, including the early implementation of the Gaza Peace Plan.
The leaders also expressed satisfaction over the “continued momentum” in the India–Israel strategic partnership and committing to deepen cooperation across sectors.
The two leaders “strongly condemned terrorism” and reiterated a zero-tolerance approach towards all forms and manifestations of terror, the government said in a statement.
Both leaders agreed to remain in touch as developments unfold.
