PM Modi to chair meeting of council of ministers today, first since Op Sindoor

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will chair a crucial meeting of the Union Council of Ministers on Wednesday, the first since the successful conclusion of Operation Sindoor, sources said. The meeting will be held this evening at 5 PM at the Sushma Swaraj Bhawan.

The meeting comes as the Modi government completes 11 years in office and one year of the Modi 3.0 term. According to the sources, all ministers will be briefed in detail about the success of Operation Sindoor in this session.

The agenda also includes discussions on the achievements of the Modi government over the past 11 years.

PM Modi has directed all ministries to compile and share their accomplishments with the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, which will prepare a booklet highlighting the government's work.

Reportedly, cabinet ministers have also been asked to promote these achievements through social media and newspaper articles.

Furthermore, PM Modi has ordered the ministers to work on a comparative presentation between the UPA and NDA regimes, emphasising how the situation has changed over the past 11 years, which will be discussed in the meeting.

In the previous Cabinet meeting, PM Modi had outlined significant events scheduled for June and urged ministers to engage meaningfully with the public on these dates.

These events are – June 5 (World Environment Day), June 9 (first anniversary of Modi 3.0), June 21 (International Yoga Day) and June 25 (50 years since the Emergency).
