Police detain bus conductor and driver after passenger altercation

Bhubaneswar: Police in Bhubaneswar detained an Ama Bus conductor and driver on Friday after they allegedly misbehaved with passengers. The incident started when a passenger, Jayasmita Mohanty, tried to pay her bus fare online, leading to an argument with the conductor that turned physical.The heated exchange between Mohanty and the conductor was captured on video, which quickly spread across social media platforms. The situation escalated when other passengers, upset by the incident, forced the bus to stop near Kalpana Square.Local police had to step in to restore order. They arrived at the scene and took control of the situation by detaining the bus staff. The quick police response helped prevent the situation from getting worse.
