Newcastle United climbed to 11th in the Premier League table on the back of the 2-1 triumph over Fulham at the St. James Park on Saturday.
Jacob Murphy opened the scoring for the toon army before Fulham’s Sasa Lukic nullified the hosts’ advantage. Bruno Guimaraes provided the telling touch in the 90th minute of the game to send the home fans into delirium.
“We have to learn how to finish in the game, in the first half we could have finished at least 3-0," Guimaraes said. “We had a lot of chances, but I am happy in the end we scored a goal. In the last few games we have been punished at the end."
