Manchester United have signed Brazilian forward Matheus Cunha from Wolverhampton Wanderers after prolonged negotiations. The signing comes as United seek to strengthen their squad following a disappointing season where they finished 15th in the Premier League, their worst position since the competition began in 1992.Cunha was signed for a reported fee of 62.5 million pounds ($84 million) on Thursday, with the 26-year-old agreeing to a five-year contract until 2030 with an option for an additional year.Speaking on his move to the Premier League giant, the forward said, "Ever since I was a child in Brazil watching Premier League games on TV at my grandmother's house, United was my favourite English team and I dreamed of wearing the red shirt."Cunha, who scored 17 goals for Wolves last season, is expected to boost United's attacking capabilities after the team recorded the fifth-worst scoring record in the Premier League last term. United striker Rasmus Hojlund only managed a mere four goals in 32 appearances last year.
