Priyani Vani Panditt is bridging tradition and modernity

In a space where classical rigor and popular appeal often diverge, Raageet—the brainchild of singer-composer Priyani Vani Panditt—offers harmony between the two. Rooted in Indian classical music yet fluent in Hindi film melodies, Raageet is less a concert series and more a dialogue between heritage and innovation.

Born in Jobat, Madhya Pradesh, Priyani began training under her father, Shri Lavesh Vani, at age eight. She went on to earn music degrees from DAVV, Indore, and honed her craft with mentors like Bharti Soni, Purbayan Chatterjee, and Ustad Murtaza Khan Sahab. Her eclectic style blends discipline with imagination, transcending gharana boundaries. A versatile playback singer, she has lent her voice to films such as Thank You, Players, Ferrari Ki Sawari, Ghudchadi, and Hindi Vindi, while her independent tracks—Maahiya, Ab Tak Na Maine, Mohan Bin Radha, Papa Tum Meri—highlight her emotional range. Recognized with a Government of India scholarship, Priyani has performed at major festivals in India and across the US, captivating audiences with her seamless mix of classical depth and cinematic appeal.
