Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra Jonas’ daughter, Malti Marie, has officially stepped into the spotlight, making her on-screen debut in the newly released 'A Very Jonas Christmas Movie'. The festive film that had a digital debut, marks the first time the couple’s 3-year-old has appeared in a film.Malti’s cameo comes in the movie’s closing scene, when the Jonas Brothers star finally makes his way back home for Christmas, after a whirlwind adventure with his brothers.

In the clip, Malti is seen surprising Nick by popping out of a cardboard box. Nick is seen leaning in to carry the little one, who is ecstatic to see him while Priyanka looks on. The three then hug, as Nick and PC lean in for a kiss.

Though Malti’s face is turned away from the camera, fans celebrated this milestone. While this marks Malti’s first film appearance, she is no stranger to the film sets. The little one has been seen accompanying her mom to all her film sets. She was even seen paying a visit to SS Rajamouli's 'Varanasi' film sets that will see her mom play the role of the leading lady.

Nick on Malti entering the film industry

Nick recently opened up about Malti’s budding personality and potential future in the entertainment industry. During an appearance on The Kelly Clarkson Show, the doting dad revealed that he and Priyanka have already discussed the possibilities.

“We have talked about it a lot. It's going to be her choice. We have a three-year-old, and she loves to sing,” Nick said, adding that her upbringing in the spotlight naturally brings pressures of its own.Reflecting on the challenges he and Priyanka have faced in their own careers, Nick acknowledged the delicate balance of parenthood. “It's also scary as a parent to think about all the things that I went through and my wife has gone through. Your one job in life is to protect your kids, but it's also to let them fly and live their life,” he shared.
