Provide accurate information to census enumerators, Anantapur District Collector urges people

Highlighting that good governance depends on reliable data, District Collector O. Anand on Friday launched the household and housing census drive at Polepalli village in Brahmasamudram mandal.

Addressing villagers, the Collector urged them to provide accurate information to officials engaged in enumeration, who will be visiting every household in the coming days. “Details such as family size, vehicles owned, electricity access, sanitation and other basic amenities are being recorded as part of the exercise,” he said, assuring residents that the information would remain confidential and be used only to improve welfare schemes and infrastructure planning.
