The Paris Saint-Germain team bus was struck by stones outside their hotel in Bilbao during the night following their Champions League game against Athletic, a club source informed AFP on Thursday.
The source confirmed that the bus was parked and empty at the time of the incident.
What Exactly Happened?
According to media reports, the coach sustained two visible cracks, and two individuals were arrested.
Despite the incident, PSG players and staff were able to make their way to the airport for their Thursday morning flight back to Paris.
The club is contemplating filing a complaint regarding the incident, the source added.
On Wednesday evening, PSG, the European champions, drew 0-0 with Bilbao, leaving PSG third in the 36-team qualifying league, while Bilbao is positioned 28th.
