"Pumping is not easy to do": Cardi B opens up on the pressure to breastfeed that women face as she prepares for her child with Stefon Diggs

Cardi B and Stefon Diggs are all set to embrace parenthood together for the first time in the next few months as the New England Patriots’ star player is fully focused on the new season. At this point in time, the Grammy winner is basking in the success of her newly released album, “Am I the Drama?”, as she recently opened up about the emotional toll of motherhood while balancing her highly successful career.

According to PEOPLE, Cardi B spoke to her fans during a livestream on X Spaces a few days ago, where she opened up about the emotional and physical toll of breastfeeding.

Cardi B said, “Breastfeeding also takes a lot of time and some women gotta go straight to work to feed their families and take care of their kids and sh*t…”The popular Grammy winner added, “They can’t spend time just sitting down. Pumping takes literally your whole f---ing day. Pumping is not something easy to do…”Cardi B continued, “There’s women that gotta go to work. There’s women that, they just have to depend on the formula." Despite her highly successful and demanding career, Cardi B has been able to balance work and motherhood pretty well.Cardi B shares three children with her ex husband, Offset, as she prepares for her fourth child that she will be parenting with her boyfriend, the New England Patriots’ wide receiver Stefon Diggs.While there were many speculations about Cardi B being pregnant with Stefon Diggs’ child, the Grammy winner slammed such rumors until she opened up about it on CBS a few weeks ago.

Cardi B has had a tough marriage and a subsequent separation with her ex husband, rapper Offset, even though the two are not legally divorced yet.

A few days ago, Offset appeared on the This is Keke Palmer podcast where he admitted to the cheating allegations and said, “I made bad decisions as a man, like stepping out."Offset added, "That’s why when she left, I had to take that on the chin…I was being selfish, you know what I mean? And I can say that as a man.
