Pune: Heartfelt program full of emotions culminates with a pledge for the final act of humanity - organ donation

PUNE: In an effort to raise awareness about organ donation Noble Hospitals and Research Centre organised a special program to mark organ donation day. Dr.Dilip Mane, Chairman and Managing Director, Noble Hospitals and Research Centre, Dr.Divij Mane, Director, Dr Sanjay Pathare Group Executive Officer along with Directors and senior members of the management and Consultants, staff were present on the occasion .

Families of around ten organ donors and recipients were felicitated on the occasion.The heartfelt ceremony honoured the organ donors and their families for their life-saving contributions and unmatched generosity. Donor families expressed their emotional journey and satisfaction with their decision to consent for the organs. The recipients narrated their experiences of prolonged dialysis, pain that they go through, and the transformation that happens after transplant.

They expressed their gratitude to the noble act of donation which helped get a new lease of life for many.

The message that resonated throughout the event was clear: with the right care and guidance from doctors, life after a transplant can be full, normal, and filled with hope. They expressed their respect to the hospital, its doctors and the staff for standing firmly by them in the difficult journey .Dr.Dilip Mane, Chairman and Managing Director said that organ donation is the biggest gift whether cadaver or living donor transplant, has a lot of emotions and courage behind it .

The experiences of the recipients show their willpower and determination.

Dr. Divij Mane, Director, Noble Hospitals and Research Centre said that listening to the stories of these heroes we actually understand the real joys of life .The program honored the selfless and noble contributions of organ donors and their families. He emphasized that such initiatives are essential to reach every section of society.Dr. Sanjay Pathare appreciated the organ donation pledge that everyone in attendance took.Dr Avinash Ignatius said that all the patients are our extended family. Organ donation is an unmatchable selfless act , as it is a rebirth for not only for the recipient but also their families.The program culminated with a pledge which was taken by everybody present and that was for the final act of humanity - organ donation.
