Punjab Kings (PBKS) have introduced their new jersey for the 2026 season of the Indian Premier League. The jersey keeps the team’s traditional red and blue colours, but with a slightly updated design. The team is captained by Shreyas Iyer and coached by former Australian cricketer Ricky Ponting. In IPL 2025, PBKS finished as runners-up after losing the final to Royal Challengers Bengaluru at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. The franchise also said a lion motif is present at the centre that transitions into diamond-shaped elements across the fabric. “The lion represents instinct, aggression and raw talent, while the diamonds symbolise what that talent becomes when shaped through preparation, high-performance systems and the pressures of top-level competition,” added the franchise.

PBKS will wear the new jersey for the first time in their opening match against Gujarat Giants on March 31 at the Maharaja Yadavindra Singh PCA Stadium in New Chandigarh. To get ready for the season, the team held a five-day training camp in Udaipur from January 16 to 20. They then trained at Sheikh Zayed Cricket Stadium in Abu Dhabi from February 8 to 14. Right now, the squad is holding another pre-season camp in Dharamsala, which is their second home venue this season.

After their first match, PBKS will travel to Chennai to play Chennai Super Kings at the M. A. Chidambaram Stadium on April 3. They will then face Kolkata Knight Riders at Eden Gardens in Kolkata on April 6. After that, PBKS will return home to play against Sunrisers Hyderabad.
