Punjab minister Aman Arora inaugurates badminton court in Sunam; to promote youth development & prevent drug addiction

SANGRUR: Punjab Cabinet Minister Aman Arora on Thursday said that sports are the most effective way to protect youth from drug addiction. He stressed that better sports facilities can help steer youngsters away from drugs and guide them towards a healthy and promising future.The minister was speaking after inaugurating a new badminton court at Maya Garden in Sunam. He highlighted the role of sports in youth development and preventing drug abuse, stating that the state government has launched a dedicated campaign titled “War Against Drugs”, which is receiving strong public support.Arora noted that the government aims to provide sports facilities in every village and is actively working to achieve this target. He added that with continued efforts, Punjab’s youth would soon shine at the international level in various sports.
