'Raanjhanaa' continues to hold a special place in the hearts of fans even 12 years after its heartfelt release.On its 12th anniversary, the team behind the film reunited for a special screening in Mumbai, which was held at PVR Lido.The screening saw a full house. It was attended by key members of the original crew, including Dhanush, director Aanand L. Rai, writer Himanshu Sharma, lyricist Irshad Kamil, and actor Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub.Dhanush stole the spotlight with his presence. The female lead in the film, Sonam Kapoor, was notably absent from the event.Her co-stars Swara Bhaskar and Abhay Deol also missed the celebration. However, actress Kriti Sanon, who will soon be seen alongside Dhanush in their upcoming film Tere Ishk Mein, joined the evening and added to the buzz. “And it’s a Full House."The production house shared a video from the event on Instagram, captioning it, “And it’s a Full House #WorldOfRaanjhanaa.” Sonam Kapoor reshared the clip in her stories, showing her support from afar.An epic romantic tale'Raanjhanaa' was a romantic drama set in Benaras, exploring themes of unrequited love, sacrifice, and heartbreak, and it was released in 2013.Dhanush played the intense and emotional Kundan, who falls for Zoya (Sonam Kapoor), only to find she loves another man, Akram (Abhay Deol).
The movie had memorable songs composed by A.R. Rahman, including “Tum Tak” and “Banarasiya.”Following the success of 'Raanjhanaa,' the creative team is reuniting for a new romantic drama titled Tere Ishk Mein, once again bringing together Dhanush, Aanand L. Rai, and Himanshu Sharma, with Kriti Sanon in a lead role.On the other hand, Dhanush has the most awaited upcoming thriller film, 'Kuberaa,' which is releasing on June 20, and the expectations are quite high for the movie.
