Rabid dog attacks eight persons in Markapuram

A rabid dog attacked eight persons at Markapuram town in Prakasam district on Monday morning. The incident occurred at College Road, near Sri Chennakesava Book Centre and Reliance Trends

The dog reportedly entered the busy market and started attacking people. The injured were immediately rushed to nearby hospital by the locals. The incident created panic among the people in the area. The locals appealed to the Municipal authorities to immediately respond and capture the dog.
