Tired of juggling multiple Indian Railways apps and passwords? The Ministry of Railways has launched ‘RailOne’, a unified mobile application designed to streamline all passenger services—from booking reserved and unreserved tickets to platform tickets.

Until now, Indian Railways operated multiple apps for different services—each with its own login system. With RailOne’s single-sign-on feature, users no longer need to remember multiple passwords.

“Once downloaded, the user can use their existing user credentials of RailConnect or UTSonMobile App to register," an official statement reads.

In addition, the mobile space will also be saved as users need not carry several applications for different services of Indian Railways.

MULTIPLE APP SYSTEM

So far, ‘IRCTC Rail Connect’ was used for reserved class ticket booking online. For registering complaints or seeking help, it was ‘RailMadad’ and for unreserved services, the users needed to have the “UTS" app. There was another app called National Train Enquiry System for train enquiry.

RAILONE APP

RailOne was officially launched on Tuesday during the 40th foundation day event of Centre for Railway Information System (CRIS).

The app can be downloaded from both Android Play Store and iOS App Store. The app supports two languages — Hindi and English.

“RailOne is a one-stop solution for all passenger services. The App offers ease of access for services like: Ticketing: Reserved, Unreserved, Platform tickets; Enquiries of Trains, PNR; Journey Planning; Rail Madad Services; Food on Train. It also has features for freight services related enquiries," the Ministry said.

The app focuses on delivering a seamless, user-friendly experience. It unifies all services under one platform and integrates them to offer a complete, hassle-free experience to users of Indian Railways services.

The facility of R-Wallet (Railway e-wallet) has also been incorporated in the app, the Ministry said.

HOW TO GET STARTED WITH RAILONE?

Existing users of IRCTC Rail Connect or UTS can log in using their current credentials in the RailOne app.

For new user registration, minimum user data is required, making it easy and fast. For enquiry purposes, users can log in as Guest through mobile number/OTP, the Ministry said.

The app supports simple login options such as numeric mPIN and biometric authentication.

By integrating all major railway services into one platform, RailOne marks a major step forward in simplifying how millions of passengers interact with Indian Railways.
