Ram Charan praises Malayalam actor Anaswara Rajan at the ‘Champion’ event; says, ‘You will keep getting calls for many big films’

Malayalam actor Anaswara Rajan will be seen in the upcoming film ‘Champion’. During the audio launch of the film, Tollywood star Ram Charan shared high praise for the young actor.According to a report by Mathrubhumi, while speaking at the event, the ‘RRR’ star appreciated Anaswara’s dedication and hard work. He said that he was impressed that she learned Telugu for the film and also dubbed for her role on her own.

He also mentioned that he sees a bright future for the actress with the best of the filmmakers approaching her after ‘Champion’. “I must speak about Anaswara Rajan specifically. I must tell you two things for sure.

First, after this movie, you will keep getting calls for many big films. The best production houses and the best directors will call you, so be prepared,” he said.

He also spoke about her performance, saying, “Your performance is approachable and likable. I feel you have a very bright future in the Indian film industry.”Speaking about the movie, ‘Champion’ is a period sports drama directed by National Award-winning filmmaker Pradeep Advaitam.

The film stars Roshan Meka in the lead role, with Anaswara Rajan playing a key part. Speaking about Ram Charan’s upcoming projects, the actor, after an underwhelming outing with ‘Game Changer’ will be next seen in sports action drama ‘Peddi’. The movie, directed by Buchi Babu Sana, stars Ram Charan in a rugged and more athletic look as he is seen playing cricket. The film stars Janhvi Kapoor as the female lead and also includes Kannada superstar Shiva Rajkumar, Jagapathi Babu and Divyenndu in key roles.

Ram Charan confirms ‘Peddi’ release date

During the same event, Ram Charan shared that the movie is set for release as planned. He confirmed that shooting is currently in progress and the release date remains unchanged. It is set to hit the big screens on March 27, 2026.
