Ranchi Catholic Archdiocese Christmas Programs Announced: Prayer, Reflection, and Community Focus

Ranchi: The Ranchi Catholic Archdiocese on Thursday announced a series of programmes for the upcoming Christmas festival.Archbishop of Ranchi, Vincent Aind said that the celebrations will focus on prayer, reflection and community participation, highlighting the spiritual significance of Christmas.“A recollection and mass with the priests of the diocese will be held on December 23 at 8.45 am at the SDC. This will be followed by the celebration of the 100th birth anniversary of Fr. Xavier Kujur. On December 28 at 8 am, the Archbishop will preside over the concluding mass of the great jubilee 2025 at the cathedral,” he said.Christmas commemorates the birth of Jesus Christ, symbolising humility, love and compassion.“The Christmas programmes are aimed at encouraging reflection, solidarity and service, and fostering a spirit of compassion and inclusion,” archbishop said.
