He also ordered the CID to register FIRs against the accused and take action against them, if found guilty, based on the probe report. The move follows reports of admissions taken and sought for against submission of fake certificates related to caste, permanent residency status, and economically weaker section category of the candidates.“The CM also directed the health dept officials to send a letter to the Union govt to continue the stray round counselling to avoid rejection of deserving aspirants,” read the statement issued by the IPRD.In Palamu, the Medinirai Medical College (MMC) authorities on Thursday said that they cancelled two admissions into the first-year of the MBBS course for the 2025 batch against “fake credentials”. Citing a case, MMC principal Dr P N Mahto said, “A boy arrived with an income certificate for admission under the economically weaker section (EWS) quota though his NEET PG form described him as a general candidate.” The second case relates to a girl, who had identified herself as a general candidate in her NEET PG application form.
However, she submitted OBC certificate while seeking admission in the medical college.Similarly, an MBBS aspirant from Godda district was caught using a forged caste certificate to claim admission under reserved quota at the Shahid Nirmal Mahto Medical College and Hospital, Dhanbad.
