Rani Mukerji's 'Mardaani 3' is set to arrive in theaters at the end of this month. And ahead of its release, the film has been certified by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC). With that, the movie's official runtime has also been revealed.

According to the Bollywood Hungama report, the makers passed the censor process on January 14, 2026. The movie has been granted a U/A 16+ certificate by CBFC. A source told the publication, "The film’s approved run time is 2 hours, 10 minutes, and 36 seconds." The report further stated that the first half will be longer, with 1 hour, 6 minutes, and 30 seconds. On the other hand, the second half will be 1 hour, 4 minutes, and 6 seconds.'Mardaani' (2014) was 113 minutes long, and 'Mardaani 2' was 103 minutes.Considering its content, earlier there were reports that the movie might receive an 'A' rating from the censor. The first film of the 'Mardaani' franchise was A-rated.

Rani Mukerji will be back as the fearless cop Shivani Shivaji Roy. 'Mardaani 3' will also feature Janki Bodiwala, Mallika Prasad, and Mikhail Yawalkar. The story of the film revolves around Shivani racing against time to rescue several missing girls. Directed by Abhiraj Minawala and written by Aayush Gupta, Deepak Kingrani, and Baljeet Singh Marwah, the movie is slated to hit theaters on January 30, 2026.

The movie was supposed to release initially on February 27, 2026. Making the announcement on their official social media handle, the production house wrote, "She won’t stop until she rescues them all! #RaniMukerji is back as the fearless cop Shivani Shivaji Roy in #Mardaani3. Rescue begins in cinemas near you on 30th Jan."
